The Trinity Christian Academy School Board announced on Feb. 8 that Dan Palmer will be school’s new Director of Development.

“As TCA experiences record growth, Mr. Palmer is excited to assist in paving the way for increased excellence in academic programs, new and updated facilities, and donor and alumni relationships,” according to a release from TCA. “As a pastor for over 30 years, Mr. Palmer loves people and believes in the power of relationships to bring personal transformation and impact through shared mission and vision.”

For the last six years, Palmer led Youth for Christ Sacramento, a large non-profit that ministers to underserved students through feeding their bodies, inspiring their minds, and introducing their spirits to the power and transformation of God.

“There is nothing more inspiring for donors than to participate in a life-changing work of God in the lives of young people. I am excited to invite our community to invest in raising up the next generation of leaders in the Parker and Tarrant County regions,” Palmer said.

Palmer holds a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA and a Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology. He has been married for 22 years to his wife Shanen and has three sons. Caleb (19) is a sophomore at TCU, Tyler (18) is a Senior at TCA, and Shane (14) is an eighth grader at TCA. They attend Watermark Church in Fort Worth.

TCA Head of School Dr. Steve Newby said, “Dan Palmer provides the energy and expertise to our Development Department at TCA that will help our school move to the next level. More importantly, he does so with a passion for Christ that is contagious and encouraging. We are delighted to welcome him to the TCA Family!”
