Bearcat Nation 101 scheduled

At the June 18 Annetta Town Council meeting, the board announced that Bearcat Nation 101 will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Aledo High School Cafeteria.

“Our table, hands down, the best booth out of them all,” said Mayor Sandy Roberts. The event’s purpose is to welcome incoming families into Aledo ISD, but any Bearcat is welcome to join and explore what the district has to offer. 

In other action, the board:

• approved an engagement letter with Wyatt Hamilton Findlay, PLLC, to provide town attorney services
• approved a renewal of the Town’s Investment Policy; no changes were made 
• discussed the Parker County Utility Agency Agreement and how it would affect Annetta 

The Annetta Town Council will meet again at 7 p.m. on July 16 at the town hall.
