The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Fort Worth District is proposing to improve I-20 from FM 2552 (Santa Fe Drive/Clear Lake Road) to East Bankhead Highway in Parker County.

This notice advises the public that TxDOT will conduct an online virtual public meeting on the proposed project, with an in-person option. The virtual meeting will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components.

The presentation will be posted online by 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, and will remain online until Friday, July 10. During this time, view the virtual public meeting or project materials at https://www.txdot.gov/. Search the keywords “I-20 frontage roads from FM 2552 to East Bankhead Highway.”

Additionally, TxDOT is providing an option for individuals who would like to participate in person. The in-person option will be held in a “come and go” open house format. Attendees will be able to:

• View the same pre-recorded presentation delivered in the online public meeting, which will be playing on a screen.

• Participate in the project development process by reviewing hard copies of project materials and details.

• Ask questions of the project team.

• Submit written comments and feedback.

The in-person option will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 at Victory Baptist Church Family Life Center/Gym – 117 Allen Street in Weatherford.

TxDOT is proposing to connect existing frontage roads along the I-20 corridor in Weatherford by completing a missing portion of the frontage road system. The objective of this project is to improve mobility and access and enhance safety, including assisting with incident management.
