Theatre Off The Square (TOTS) in Weatherford will present the first show of their 25th Anniversary Season of Shows, The Tin Woman, by Sean Grennan, produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.

This production is directed by Amanda Livengood, with Jaclyn Justice as the assistant director. The show begins Friday, Jan. 26 and runs weekends through Feb. 11. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Theatre Off The Square is located at 114 N. Denton St. in Weatherford.

Interpreter services will be provided at the Feb. 10, 8 p.m. performance. Services are provided through a partnership with the American Sign Language Interpreting Program of Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus.

The show follows recent heart transplant recipient, Joy, and the family of the heart donor, Hank, Alice, and Sammy. Instead of relishing life after her heart transplant, Joy enters a downward spiral, unsure whether she truly deserves a second chance.

Meanwhile, Alice and Hank mourn the loss of their son, Jack, whose heart was used to save Joy. At her friend's urging, Joy tracks down Jack's family to find closure. But are they ready to accept Jack's death?

Based on a true story, The Tin Woman uses humor and pathos to explore loss, family, and what it means to be given new life.

The cast is: Joy – Jordyn Mahar Nelson, Hank – Boyd C. Mooney, Jack – Jonathan Cook, Alice – Kathy Manning, Sammy – Aimee Wilson, and Nurse/Darla – Dana Powers.

All seats are reserved; tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for seniors (60-plus). Matinee tickets are $15 for all ages and no other discounts apply.

Purchase tickets in the box office prior to each show or follow this link https://buy.ticketstothecity.com/venue.php?org_id=88.
