Six members of the Willow Park Trinity Christian Lady Eagles basketball team have been honored by the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools.
Sophomores Emily Ickert and Sadie Gough were named second-team Class 4A All-State. Both were also selected first-team All-District 1 TAPPS 4A.
Named second-team all-district was senior Caroline Thompson. Honorable mentions went to junior Ella Cockrum, along with sophomores Ava Luecker and Berlynn Kaznowski.
The Lady Eagles advanced to the second round of the playoffs. They defeated Dallas Christian 48-31 in the opening round before being eliminated with a 52-37 loss to eventual state champion Fort Worth Lake Country Christian.
