A rare pink grasshopper was recently spied by Annie Fritz in a back yard in Willow Park. It is estimated that there is less than a one percent chance of seeing a pink grasshopper in your lifetime. Pink grasshoppers rarely live to adulthood because their coloring makes them easy to spot by predators.
