The Aledo Ladycats topped the field in their Aledo Invitational powerlifting meeting on Jan. 30. They scored 60 points to easily outdistance runner-up Trinity Christian Academy with 22.
The Ladycats and Bearcats then competed in Glen Rose on Feb. 5 and 6, respectively. The Aledo girls placed second with 41 points, behind Glen Rose with 47, and the boys were third with 40 points, behind Glen Rose with 67 and Granbury with 49.
