Outstanding Performers

Nolan Golden (left) and Jack Grimm (right) were each selected as Outstanding Performer at the 2023 Texas State Solo-Ensemble Contest. Of about 100,000 students participating in the regional music contests and the thousands of musicians who performed at TSSEC, only 2-3% of the solo performances earned the distinguished honor of being recognized as an Outstanding Performer. Joey Paul, Aledo ISD Director of Bands, said “This achievement is truly a mark of excellence!”
