Nash hurls no-hitter

The Willow Park Trinity Christian Academy Eagles baseball team evened its record at 3-3 with a 10-0 victory at Irving Cistercian Preparatory on March 2 as Hank Nash pitched a no-hitter.

Nash threw five innings before the game was called by mercy rule. He struck out five, walked one, and hit a batter. In addition, Nash had a hit and walked three times himself at the plate.

Colt Brinkman led the TCA offense with two hits, including a double, along with driving in a run and walking. Also, Nick Kuentz had a hit, 2 RBI and a walk; Caleb Hart had a hit and two walks; Zander Gasowski was hit by a pitch and drove in two runs; and Bo Merrill had a walk and RBI.

Golf team wins

The Eagles traveled to Split Rail Golf Club to play in the Lions Cup Invitational on March 3 and came away with a first-place finish. Individually, Alex Reynolds and Luke Rodgers tied for second place, each shooting a 78.
