Everyone is invited to participate and celebrate picnics and spring by attending Spring Fling hosted by the Parker County Extension Education Association. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Central Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 1602 South Main Street in Weatherford.
The picnic theme will feature presentations including picnic ideas, creating a perfect picnic, a presentation on places to picnic, and a presentation by the Willow Park Garden Club. There will be ideas, crafts, a country store, lunch, and more.
A picnic lunch with chicken salad on croissants, homemade desserts and more will be served from 12-1 p.m. The event also includes a raffle, silent auction, and door prizes.
Admission and lunch is $15 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the door and are also available from Parker County Extension Education members and at the Parker County Extension office located at 604 North Main Street.
