The Ladycats Black had a two-day total of 646, outdistancing runner-up Tyler Legacy with a 692. The Bearcats Black posted a 623, behind Lubbock Cooper at 608 and Wolfforth Frenship with a 618.
Individually, Braden Stokes of Aledo Black had the low score with a 147. Maddox Jessup, playing only as a medalist, shot 151 to finish fifth.
The Ladycats Black were led by Emily Crick’s 156, placing her third individually. Kylie Kirkland shot 161 for fifth, Sydney Purdon’s 162 placed her sixth and Harper Price came in with a 167 for eighth.
“It’s nice to get to play and then go a short distance home for the rest of the day,” Aledo coach Brian Mourning said. “The kids played well. I’m excited to see what can do as we move forward.
“It’s full speed ahead. We’ll get to district before you know it.”
The tournament featured some renowned teams, including several at the 6A level, such as Legacy and Frenship. Also, the Bearcats are likely to see Cooper at the regional tournament later this spring.
Rounding out the scores for the Bearcats Black are Logan Lund 155, Evan Boukadoum 160, Tyler Anderson 163 and Ryland Haley 165. The Ladycats Black scores also included Addison Russ with a 190.
The four lowest scores in each round comprise the team score for that day.
Orange: Alex Dolman 162, Pierce Russom 170, Christian Moll 171, Archer English 173 and Jack Hagood 176.
White: Ainsley English 166, Andrew Todey 167, Christian Aaron 180, Collier Morgan 185.
Orange: Kenzie Today 180, Charlotte Roland 188, Emma Mangels 196, Morgan Gahagan 199, Macy Martinak 210.

The Ladycats Orange team won the championship of the Eagle Invitational at Canyon West Golf Course on March 2. They shot a 366, 11 shots ahead of runner-up Godley’s 377.
Individually, Russell, playing as a medalist, had the tourney’s low score with an 83. The Orange team was led by Todey and Roland, each with a 90, while Martinak and Mangels each had a 93 and Gahagan shot 100.
The Aledo junior varsity was fifth in their division with a 430. They were paced by Lilly Castillo’s 102, followed by Libby Kirkland with a 104. Also, Evelyn Moll shot 110, while Taylor Jones and Addison Younkin posted a 114 each.
