Crick posted a two-round total of 158 to repeat as individual league champion. She was one of four Ladycats Black players to finish in the top six, joined by runner-up Sydney Purdon, 163; fifth-place Kylie Kirkland, 166; and sixth-place Harper Pryce, 170.
Rounding out the Ladycats Black scores was Sydney Russell with a 209.
The Ladycats Black shot a total of 657 and won the tournament in convincing fashion. They bested runner-up Granbury Purple by 60 strokes as the Lady Pirates posted a 717.
Team scores are made up of the four lowest individual scores in each round.
Both teams now advance to the Class 5A Region I Tournament April 15-16 at LakeRidge Country Club in Lubbock. From there the top three teams, along with the top three individuals not on those teams, will qualify for state May 4-5 at Legacy Hills Golf Club in Georgetown.
“I think they came back to where I thought we should be. I still think we can go lower and we certainly have the talent to do so,” Ladycats coach Brian Mourning said. “Emily is starting to get the groove back and that’s a good sign.”
Crick is seeking her third state appearance in four seasons. She qualified individually in 2025 and the Ladycats qualified as a team in 2023.
“We’ve got to play like that for two days at regionals to go to state, but we can,” Mourning said. “If we can get two in the 70s and two in the low 80s, that gives us a chance to get to state.”
Just as it was at district, wind will be a factor in Lubbock, Mourning noted.
“It’ll be similar conditions to what we had at district, but the girls handled it well,” he said.
Aledo Orange finished third in district, shooting a 787. They were led by Addison with a 194, while Morgan Gahagan and Emma Mangels each shot 198 and Macy Martinak came home with a 199.
Also for Aledo, Kenzie Todey posted a 202, with Charlotte Roland and Libby Kirkland each finishing with a 204.
Aledo is moving up to Class 6A next season following this past February’s University Interscholastic League realignment. It will be their first time competing at that level.
