The Aledo Ladycats soccer team has hit the field running for the 2026 season and has split its last four games following a 1-0 season-opening loss against Argyle. In their latest contests, Aledo has earned wins over South Hills (6-0) and Denton (1-0) while suffering losses against Midlothian (4-0) and Burleson Centennial (1-0).

Ally Weimer scored Aledo’s lone goal in the slim victory over Denton while plenty of Ladycats got in on the offensive action against South Hills. In that 6-0 victory, Kendall Holcomb scored two goals while Ainsley Elmore had a goal and two assists. Weimer added one goal and one assist while Baylee Velarde scored a goal assisted by Abigail Cates. Jordan Wright also added a goal to the winning tally.

The Ladycats (2-3) will compete next in the Georgetown Tournament with a Thursday match against Barbers Hill.
