Grapevine won the tournament with a two-day total of 651 (327-324), while the Ladycats were next with 674 (350-324). Aledo moved up from fourth place after the tournament’s first day.
Individually, senior Emily Crick placed fifth with a 159 (82-77). She was in 10th place after the first round.
Also moving up were junior Kylee Kirkland (17th to 11th) with a 165 (85-80), sophomore Sydney Purdon (26th to 18th) with a 172 ( 89-83), and senior Harper Pryce (41st to 26th) with a 178 (94-84). Rounding out the Aledo contingent was senior Addison Russ with a 196 (96-100).
The four lowest scores in each round comprise the team score.
Aledo Black will next compete in the Bearcat Brawl Feb. 27-28 at Split Rail and Squaw Creek courses, along with the varsity Orange. The boys Black, Orange, and White teams will also be competing in this tournament to get their spring season underway.
