Led by Gracee Whiteaker and Emma Saadeh, the Willow Park Trinity Christian Lady Eagles finished second in the Terry Jessup Metroplex Striders Invitational cross country meet at The Buff in Fort Worth on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Whiteaker had a time of 12 minutes, 15.79 seconds to place fourth on the 3200-meter course. Saadeh clocked a 12:51.73 for fifth.
The Lady Eagles scored 60 points, trailing only Argyle Liberty Christian with 42.
The Eagles were led by Wilson Winchester, who was 11th over the boys’ 5-kilometer course with a time of 17:33.91.
Weatherford Christian also competed in the meet, with Landry Parkin taking second among the girls in 11:44.85 and Nate Cupp finishing sixth among the boys with a 17:20.63.
Other TCA girls in the top 50 finishers were Brooklyn Mathieson, 15th; Madison Clark, 18th; Meagan King, 36th; and Ellery Wright, 39th.
