The Aledo JV Orange football team hosted Denton Ryan on Oct. 20 and came away with a 42-7 victory to remain unbeaten for the season.

The Bearcats took their opening drive 65 yards but couldn't capitalize. Ryan forced a fumble on first down when the Bearcats were inside the Raiders' 10-yard line. The defense stepped up big for the Bearcats after the turnover, forcing a three-and-out with a huge pass break by Kayden Richardson on a deep pass on third down.

On the Bearcats' second drive, they found the end zone when Gavin Beard finished the drive with a 1-yard run on fourth down.

Logan DeFranzo added the extra point to make it 7-0.

The Raiders answered with a long pass completion and a score of their own to tie the game 7-7.

After that, the Bearcats' offense got on a roll and never looked back. Gavin Beard went to the air to find Cayden Hix on third down for a 27-yard touchdown pass to make the score 14-7.

The Bearcats stopped the Raiders once again. On fourth down, Adrian Fuller made an outstanding return up the sideline for a 35-yard punt return for a touchdown. The Bearcats took a 21-7 lead going into the half.

The second half was a dominating performance by the Bearcats. The Defense was suffocating, shutting out the Raiders for the entire half.

Gavin Beard added two more scores through the air, both to Jayden Griswald. Kade McCown finished the scoring for the Bearcats with a 3-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

The offensive players of the game were Jayden Griswald, Cody Cartwright, and Kayden McCown. The defensive players of the game were Kayden Richardson, Jaxon Richter, and Adrian Fuller.

In the season's finale, the JV Orange team will travel to Brewer next week.
