Janet Louise Hoefer, 88, passed from this life on Friday, February 9, 2024.
She was born October 10, 1935, in Lamar, Colorado, to Lester Dunham and Dorothy (Light) Dunham.
Janet was an LVN for 25 years, working in multiple health care facilities. She was an active member of Annetta United Methodist Church, served as Secretary/Treasurer of Annetta Cemetery Association, and was an avid quilter and master gardener. Janet’s cakes and baking were world famous, and she loved watching football. She was widely known as being the world’s greatest grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lee and Bill Dunham; sister, Donna Alexander; and her grandson, Junior Hoefer.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 68 years, Mickey Ray Hoefer; children, Michael Hoefer, and wife, Susie; Nancy Rowe, and husband, Tom; Debra Moore, and husband, Mike; Troy Hoefer, and wife, Gayla; granddaughters, Jamie Tierce and husband, Tomm;, Lindsay Garrison and husband, Jim; Randi Edwards, Carley Rowe, Ledi Edwards, Hannah Hoefer, and Murphy Hoefer; great grandsons, Tyler Tierce and wife, Tana, Cole Tierce, and Graham Garrison.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Service Road, Willow Park, Texas
A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Annetta Cemetery.
