Parker County Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Lisa Flowers was among the distinguished guests at a groundbreaking ceremony for a significant infrastructure project in the region recently.
Held with Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker, Aledo Mayor Nick Stanley, County Commissioner Mike Hale, and Texas Department of Transportation dignitaries, as well as members of the I-20 Coalition Committee, the event marked a major milestone for the North Texas region. A total of $541 million is committed to enhance transportation and infrastructure.
The Texas Clear Lane Project has allocated a 50% increase in funding for the region in response to unprecedented growth, reflecting Texas’s status as both the world’s eighth largest economy and its fastest-growing state. The North Texas region itself is poised to become the third-largest in the nation, with population projections soon to surpass that of Chicago.
