Nonetheless, in his three seasons as a Longhorn, Belyeu posted a .318 batting average with 27 home runs and 84 runs batted in. In his sophomore season on his way to being named the top player in the Big 12 Conference, he led UT in slugging (.667), OPS (1.090), multiple RBI games (15), and shared the team lead in home runs (18).
In all, he appeared in 59 games, starting 56 in 2024. He batted .329, scoring 50 runs, while belting 15 doubles and driving in 53 runs with a .423 on-base percentage and 21 multi-hit games. He homered in three straight games during one stretch of the season. He also tied a team record with three home runs and six RBI against Baylor. He also went 4-for-4 with a pair of home runs against Oklahoma.

Belyeu played his final two high school seasons with Aledo after playing his first two at Conroe. He was a two-time all-state selection and the District 5-5A MVP in 2022. He helped the Bearcats reach back-to-back regional finals.
As a Longhorn, Belyeu helped them reach three straight NCAA regional tournaments, including a super regional in 2023.
