Falcon Fast Invitational

The Aledo Bearcats extended their regular-season meet championship streak to 16 in a row by winning the Falcon Fast Invitational hosted by Keller Timber Creek on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The Bearcats scored 155.5 points, narrowly edging Lewisville Flower Mound with 153.

Aledo won seven gold medals, including two relays. Carson Dempsey claimed a pair of golds in the shot put and discus.

The Ladycats placed fourth. They were paced by Lauren St. Peters, who won gold in the shot put and discus.

The Bearcats and Ladycats will next compete at Northwest High School on Friday, March 1 and hosts the Bearcat Relays on Thursday, March 7.
