We want to provide our readers with coverage of the positions on both sides.
To that end, we teamed up with The Coyote radio station at Weatherford College to invite both candidates to an on-air debate that we would also live stream.
The Glenn Rogers campaign responded with its willingness to participate. Despite a number of calls and texts, Michael Olcott has not responded.
Likewise, we invited Mr. Olcott to submit a column with his views on the topic of school choice/vouchers. While we received a response, we never received a submission.
As we get closer to the primary, we will reach out to both candidates for recorded interviews. However, we can only report back the positions of those who respond to our requests.
