After a detailed close-up inspection of the banner, it has been determined that it does contain the legally-required disclaimer, and our characterization of the banner as missing the disclaimer and as “illegal” was in error.
The article also referred to Scott Smith’s opponent as Houston Wingard. Smith’s opponent is Kurban.
