Bearcats compete at Brewer

Krieger’s lift total included 565 pounds from a squat, 410 on the bench press and 470 from a dead lift.

Trip Caldwell placed second in the 242 division, lifting 1,220 pounds. Right behind was Seth Knott in third with 1,210. In that same class, David Reeves placed fifth with 1,085.

In all, Aledo had a dozen lifters finish in the top five of their respective weight classes:

• 148 pounds: 4. Cooper Pack, 775 pounds lifted; 5. Brett Martin, 730.
• 165: 3. Blaine Fisher, 900; 5. Zack Grimes, 880.
• 181: 4. Jaylen Yarbrough, 970.
• 198: 3. Nick Robles, 1,040; 4. CJ Phillips, 1,000.
• 220: 4. Casen Miller, 1,220.

The Bearcats were competing at Chisholm Trail at press time and host their own meet on Feb. 16.
