A total of 58 student-athletes from Aledo (29) and Weatherford (29) were named academic all-state by the Texas High School Coaches Association for spring sports.
To qualify for this honor, a student-athlete must be a senior, a team member in good standing (athlete, trainer, or manager), possess good moral character, and have an overall grade point average of 92 or above from grades 9-11 and 12th-grade courses completed.
Student-athletes were honored for golf, track, tennis, baseball, and softball. Accolades went to:

Girls golf: Second team - Harper Price, Emily Crick.
Boys track: Honorable mention - Briley Perkins, Lincoln Tubbs.
Girls track: First team - Sofia Brandenburg, Molly Garrison, Savannah Thompson; second team - Kara Overstreet, Claire Campbell.
Boys tennis: Second team - Noah Nottingham.
Girls tennis: Second team - Elizabeth Kehrt, honorable mention - McKinley Hayes.
Baseball: First team - Wilson Sehnem, Tanner Tovar; second team - Caleb Turner, Luke Sandefur, Brady Huffman; honorable mention - Reid Huffman, Teryn Byrne, Brennan Rodgers, Jackson Loos, Dylan Duran, Landon Barnes, Kyle Poindexter.
