AMS teams compete at PC event

Aledo Middle School cross country runners competed in the Parker County Championship this past Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Weatherford Disc Golf Course. The athletes competed in mixed groups, with seventh- and eighth-graders.

The AMS boys placed fifth out of nine teams and the girls were fourth out of eight teams.

Stand out runners were Josh Fink for the boys, sixth out of 161 athletes with a time of 12:13.73 over 3,200 meters; and Juliet Sloan, 14th out of 135 athletes with a time of 14:39.72.
