She started her 13-year journey as a curator and later stepped into the role of Executive Director, where she has helped shape the museum into a deeply respected institution in Parker County. The Center will host a come-and-go reception from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, August. 22 in Heritage Hall. Community members, colleagues, and friends are invited to attend and share their appreciation.
“While we are sad to see Amanda go, we are so grateful for the legacy she leaves behind,” said Lorraine Crutcher, Director of Development, on behalf of the staff. “Her heart, vision, and tireless work have made the Doss what it is today—a place where stories live and history comes alive.”
Lorraine Crutcher will serve as Interim Executive Director. Lorraine has been a valued member of the Doss team and brings deep experience and dedication to this new role.
The Doss Board of Directors will initiate a search for a permanent Executive Director later this year.
