With the most important meet of the season coming up, the Aledo Bearcats had their best showing of the season.

The Bearcats varsity placed second out of 23 teams in the Bowie Invitational in Arlington this past weekend, Jan. 20-21.

“This was also our first team trophy for our program, so my hope is that it is a sign of good things to come for our upcoming district tournament,” said Aledo coach Austin Stockon.
