Aledo teams open at Brock

The Ladycats won their competition, scoring 68 points, easily outdistancing runner-up Brewer with 31. The Bearcats were second with 44 points, with host Brock winning with 64.

Ladycats lifters won six weight classes, while Bearcat lifters took first in five. Ladycats taking top spots were Lilly Caruthers, Kylie Cameron, Kyla Pierce, Breleigh Mayer, Claire Mosely, and Alexis Hailey. 

Winning their divisions among the Bearcats were Cooper Pack, Zack Grimes, Sean Scott, Nic Robles, and Roland Krieger.

Two Bearcats finished second in their weight class, while seven Ladycats placed second. In one weight class, the Ladycats posted the top five lifters.
