Aledo Anglers kick off season near the top
The Aledo Anglers kicked off their 2022-2023 fishing season with a tournament at Possum Kingdom Lake the first weekend of October.
AAC produced three teams in the top 10, competing in a field of 217 boats.
The Anglers also enjoyed a team recognition with a respectable second place finish overall out of 38 schools/clubs. The Anglers fell short of the first place trophy by .67oz. With the strong finish the team is well suited to continue the pursuit for Team of the Year honors as AAC is two points off the lead.

9. Austin Martin and Hunter Stuart

The tournament was hosted by the Texas High School Bass Association.
