Taylor May has been named the head varsity girls soccer coach at Aledo High School.
May has been the head girls soccer coach at Keller Timber Creek High School for the last five years, leading her team to the playoffs twice. Prior to that, she was a varsity assistant soccer coach and teacher at Timber Creek for six years. May has also been a junior varsity soccer coach, freshman volleyball coach and strength and conditioning program coach in her career.
“I’m honored to join Aledo and lead the charge in taking the girls’ soccer program to new heights,” May said. “Together, we’ll build a culture of excellence, commitment and unity - on and off the field. Our journey starts now, and the best is yet to come!”
May is a member of the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches, and she has previously been a professional development presenter in Keller ISD. May has a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, where she was a student athlete and played women’s soccer for three years (NCAA one year, Club two years).
“I am excited to have Coach May join the Bearcat family as our girls soccer head coach,” Aledo ISD Athletics Director Brandy Belk said. “I am looking forward to introducing her and her family to our athletes, school and community and to see the impact her energy, passion, and expertise will have on the program.”
