Senior Center celebrates 50 years

The Parker County Senior Center/Meals on Wheels celebrated 50 years of service at a reception on Thursday, July 24.

In association with that event, the center is holding a “50 for 50” fundraising event. The center is looking for 50 people who will commit to donate $50/month, and 50 businesses who will do the same.

In addition, the center is looking for volunteers to help with and coordinate activities at the center, as well as donations for the food pantry.

To donate, visit pccoa.org and click the link ‘Donate” button. One-time donations can be made through PayPal and Venmo.

The center requests that recurring donations be made through Zeffy to avoid additional fees.
