Meet the Bearcats sets stage for new season

Fifty-five tables, two chairs each, stretched the length of Tim Buchanan Stadium August 23 for Meet the Bearcats and the kickoff of the 2024-25 football season. After performances from the Aledo cheerleaders and Aledo dance team and introductions of each performer, the Bearcats were introduced and trotted out game-opening style.

All the students took seats at the tables, sharpies in hand, to greet and sign autographs on posters and shirts for fans of all ages. Free posters of the football team on one side and the cheer squad on the other were available.

Preseason games are  scheduled for 7:30 p.m. August 30 at Denton Guyer, and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Tim Buchanan Stadium against Lancastera
