Plenty is on the line for the Aledo Ladycats and Bearcats basketball teams as both continue District 6-5A action today at Boswell.
The Bearcats and Boswell are locked in a fourth-place tie in District 6-5A. The winner of the contest will have a one-game lead for the final playoff spot with two games remaining to be played.
Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Boswell High School.
The Ladycats have already clinched a playoff spot but can assume the district’s No. 2 seed with a win over state-ranked No. 9 Boswell combined with a Northwest loss. Boswell has already clinched the district championship and is looking to run the table in 6-5A.

The Aledo High School soccer teams will also continue district play. The Bearcats will host Brewer, while the Ladycats travel to Brewer. Both matches will begin at 7:30 p.m.
