The North Central Texas Emergency Communications District (NCT9-1-1) hosted its annual 9-1-1 Awards Gala on June 13 in Burleson to honor the accomplishments of local 9-1-1 telecommunicators and Emergency Communications Centers (ECCs). The event brought together representatives from the NCT9-1-1 service area to reflect upon the past year and acknowledge those who went above and beyond. With 200 guests in attendance, the 2025 9-1-1 Awards Gala was deemed a success.
The recipients of the awards were:
9-1-1 Public Education Professional of the Year — Amy Ellis with Parker County Hospital District
9-1-1 Training Professional of the Year — Mallory Ransom with McKinney Police Department
9-1-1 Team of the Year — Parker County Hospital District
9-1-1 Telecommunicator of the Year — Carter Chance with Hood County Sheriff’s Office
9-1-1 Supervisor of the Year — Nikki Smith with Weatherford Police Department
TDD/TTY Above and Beyond — Bridgeport Police Department
9-1-1 Agency of the Year — Parker County Hospital District
Professionalism Awards — Evan Dannenberg with Waxahachie Police Department, Deanna Francek with Navarro County Sheriff’s Office, Robyn Paisant with McKinney Police Department, Reagan Rice with Weatherford Police Department, Shelli Taylor with Allen Police Department, and Tyler Brown with Hood County Sheriff’s Office.
