Eagles baseball falls to Covenant

The Trinity Christian Eagles baseball season came to a close with a back-to-back losses to Colleyville Covenant.

In the first game, Covenant scored two runs in each the second, third and fourth innings.  TCA close the gap in the bottom of the fourth inning, making it 6-5.

However, eight runs in the last three innings pushed Covenant over the top, 14-6.

The second game was heavily offensive as Covenant scored five runs to lead off the game, and Trinity responded with three in the bottom of the inning.

Then an eight run second inning for Covenant created the separation needed en route to defeating the Eagles 16-8.
