Carsyn Barnett of the Aledo High School FFA Chapter was selected to be a part of the Texas FFA Foundation Ambassadors Program for the 97th annual Texas FFA State Convention held June 30-July 4, 2025. Carsyn was one of 24 students in the state chosen to serve as a Senior Foundation Ambassador. This is Carsyn’s second year to be chosen to be a part of the Texas FFA Foundation Ambassador Program, as she served as a Junior Ambassador at the Texas FFA State Convention in 2024.

The Foundation Ambassadors program is a unique opportunity for chapter level FFA members to meet, interact, and assist some of our special guests, VIPs, and other important sponsors.

The 97th annual Texas FFA Convention welcomed approximately 16,000 members and guests. Members of the state’s largest agricultural youth leadership organization spent the week attending leadership workshops, participating in events and activities, being recognized for their achievements, and serving as the legislative body for the Texas FFA Association.

The Texas FFA is the nation’s largest state FFA association with a membership of more than 182,000 members. FFA gives students the opportunity to apply practical classroom knowledge to real-world experiences through local, state, and national competitions.
