The First Baptist Church of Dennis will host a concert of the Singing Men of Texas at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at 7600 FM 1189 in Dennis. Singing Men of Texas consists of men who serve in various music-related positions in Texas Baptist churches and institutions. The public is invited to One; One Night, One God, One Voice at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 at New River Fellowship in Hudson Oaks.
Participating choirs include Oakridge Church of Christ, First Baptist Church Willow Park, Greenwood Baptist Church, First United Methodist Weatherford/Aledo United Methodist Church combined choirs, New Hope Baptist Church, New River Fellowship, and Church at the Crossing.
The event is free, though t-shirts will be sold to benefit the Center of Hope.
Bro. Tommy Miller will preach a revival beginning Sunday, Nov. 3, at New Faith Baptist Church, 3303 West FM 5.Miller is from Union Valley Baptist Church in Beene, Arkansas. Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday. Monday - Wednesday there will be a drop-in dinner at 5:30 p.m.

The Alzheimer’s Support Group meets from 1-3 p.m. every second Thursday at Aledo United Methodist Church, 100 Pecan Drive.
Respite care is available.
Aledo United Methodist Church and Stephen Ministers will host a Service of Hope at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, in the chapel at 100 Pecan Drive in Aledo.
The Service of hope is for people “to gather together, to remember loved ones who have died, and to embrace the hope that is ours through Jesus Christ.”
Those in attendance will sit in family groups, appropriately distanced, and all who attend are asked to wear a mask. All are welcome.
