Willow Bark

March 28 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

The City of Willow Park is partnering with Parker Paws to bring you “Willow Bark” from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Paul Balint Park (adjacent to Willow Park City Hall).

The event is a dog-centric family festival featuring live music, games, food, and local vendors. Adoptable rescues dogs will be available, Parker Paws will provide information, there will be a dog costume contest, small dog races, and other activities.

The free event is open to the public and all proceeds raised from donations and sponsorships will benefit Parker Paws rescue. Parker Paws, a 501(c)3, was founded in 2007 and rescues local dogs and cats, providing foster care and needed medical attention until homes can be found for the animals. The organization — staffed entirely by volunteers — rescued hundreds of dogs and cats in 2019 and is poised to do even more in 2020.
