Crews are assessing a bridge structure that was struck by a truck early on April 3 at the intersection of Interstate 20 and Lakeshore Drive.
The main east- and west-bound lanes are closed and traffic is being detoured to the access roads and U.S. Highway 180.
The U.S. 180 east-bound feeder ramp has also been closed.
