Bearcats open District 6-5A baseball season at home today against Azle

Sporting a 14-3 non-district record and a No. 5 state ranking by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association, the Aledo Bearcats will open District 6-5A play today at home against Azle.

The first pitch will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Aledo High School baseball field.

Aledo will play two district games in a span of three days during Spring Break. The 'Cats will travel to Eaton on Thursday with a 7:30 p.m. start.

The Bearcats are coming off a successful run at the Abilene tournament where they won four of six games.
