Both the Aledo Ladycats and Bearcats basketball teams will host games today in non-district basketball action.
The Ladycats (1-1), coming off a win over Maypearl, will face Class 4A No. 5 Godley at 6 p.m. at the AHS gym.
The Bearcats will be playing in their season opener and will face an old district foe. Aledo will host Granbury at 7:30 p.m. at the AHS gym.
