The 77-year old male named in a Silver Alert has been located safe.
Parker County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Taylor County Sheriff’s Office early this morning, reporting they had located Loyad Frederick Scott, 77, who went missing early Thursday morning from his residence in Azle.
The Parker County Sheriff’s Office issued the Silver Alert after Scott’s wife woke to find him gone along with their 2014 Subaru Forester.
Scott’s family was notified that he was safe and are making arrangements to bring him home.
The Parker County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office and Lake Worth Police Department for their diligence in assisting us with locating Mr. Scott.
“We are always pleased to see a happy ending to a missing persons case,” said Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler.
