Azle man killed in accident on Cattlebaron Drive

At 4:41 p.m. on June 8, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers were notified of a two vehicle traffic crash on Cattlebaron Drive, north of White Settlement Road, in eastern Parker County.  A 2007 BDM motorcycle, driven by Darrell Paul Young, 59, of Azle, was traveling north on Cattlebaron.  The motorcycle attempted to pass a 2001 Peterbuilt truck tractor that was towing a semi trailer.  The driver lost control, struck a tire on the trailer and began to skid on its side. Young, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown under the trailer and run over. He was pronounced deceased at the scene scene by EMS personnel. The driver of the Peterbuilt, Russell Wayne Dunlap, 49, of Jacksboro was not injured.
