Coder Elementary kindergarten students are learning about plant and animal characteristics in science, and measurements in math. The children recently walked over to the high school Ag Barn for a hands-on lesson.
They saw the physical characteristics of the animals, such as color, size and body covering. They also compared the animals by different forms of measurement such as height and weight.
High-school FFA students explained how all the animals need food, shelter, clean water, exercise and even baths.
