Aledo Middle School student Bryson Dean was selected as one of 500 recipients of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Outstanding Achievement Award. This is the first time the National Association of Secondary School Principals has given this award. It is designed for members who demonstrate outstanding performance in the five pillars of NJHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character and Citizenship. Each of the 500 students selected will receive a $500 scholarship for college. Bryson is pictured with NJHS sponsors Kristie Vandergriff, Betsy Denny and Alicia Albin.
