Political Meeting

Cathie Adams of the Texas Eagle Forum will speak at the June 16 meeting of Bush Legacy Republican Women of Weatherford at 11:30 a.m. in the Doss Heritage and Culture Center.

Adams was named by Campaigns and Elections magazine as one of the top 50 Republican influencers in Texas. She has been an election judge, a member of the district, state and national resolutions/platform committees; and a delegate to the 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008 Republican National Conventions. She has served both as Republican National Committeewoman for Texas and as Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.

Dr. Jeffrey F. Addicott is a Distinguished Professor of Law and the Director of the Center for Terrorism Law at St. Mary's University School of Law, San Antonio, Texas. He was an active duty Army officer in the Judge Advocate General's Corps for twenty years, retiring in 2000 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He will speak to the members of Bush Legacy Republican Women on May 19th at the Doss Heritage Center.

WBAP talk radio host Mark Davis will be the featured speaker at the April 21 meeting of the Bush Legacy Republican Women. The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center in Weatherford.
After eight years as a columnist for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Davis joined the op-ed page of the Dallas Morning News in 2004. He is a featured commentator on KDFW Fox 4 and WFAA, Channel 8. He is invited often to discuss news events on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC.
Davis is also called up regularly to fill in for Rush Limbaugh.

Lifetime Member of NRA and Community Activist to Speak to Bush Legacy Republican Women

Amy Clark, a Lifetime member of NRA and chair of the Republican Party Organization Committee of the SREC will be the speaker for Bush Legacy Republican Women when they meet at Doss Heritage Center on February 17th at 11:30 AM.Amy ClarkAmy Clark Amy Clark, a Dallas native attended DeSoto High School. She graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a degree in Anthropology. She also spent a semester in Florence, Italy, studying archaeology, art history and Italian.

Afterwards, Clark moved to the Washington, D.C., area to begin her career with the National Rifle Association. Upon moving back to Texas, she continued working with The NRA Foundation as a consultant.

Raging Elephant to speak to Bush Legacy Republican Women

Apostle Claver, founder and chairman of RagingElephants.org, will be the featured speaker at the next meeting of Bush Legacy Republican Women from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center in Weatherford.

RagingElephants.org is an organization dedicated to “leading ‘America’s 2nd Emancipation’ by bringing diversity to the Conservative movement.”

Apostle has appeared or been featured on the Sean Hannity Show, John Gibson Show, Mancow Show, CNN, Fox News and TV, radio and print media across the nation.
