The Parker County Republican Party meets the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
Parker County Republican Party will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Strain Community Room at Weatherford College. State Sen. Craig Estes is the speaker. All Parker County Republicans are invited.
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, the Republican nominee for governor, will appear at a fundraiser in Aledo Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Parson’s Table, hosted by Dr. David and Julie Tillman.
A VIP reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the general reception at 6 p.m.

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn will be at the Downtown Cafe on the Square in Weatherford at 6 p.m. Monday, June 30 for a meet and greet.
All are invited and no reservations are required.
A candidate forum for the primary runoff candidates, sponsored by the Parker County Republican Party, will be held Tuesday, May 13 at 7 p.m. at the Courthouse on the square in Weatherford, The runoff is May 27.
The April meeting of the Parker County Republican Party is Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m. at the Strain Community Room at Weatherford College.
The program will be by MerryLynn Gerstenschlager and Rosemarie Swaim on the topic of a Convention of States, a continuation of the discussion at the recent county convention.
The Parker County Republican Convention is Saturday, March 22 at 9 a.m., with registration at 8 a.m. at the Ninth Grade Center in Weatherford. Voting delegates were elected at precinct conventions.
The Parker County Candidate Forum is Thursday night, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Courthouse on the Square in Weatherford. All candidates and Parker County residents are invited. Questions from the audience may be submitted to a panel. After the forum, Cup and Cake will be open so that voters may have an additional opportunity to visit with candidates and elected officials.
Guest speaker for the Parker County Republican Party’s annual fundraiser is radio and internet/TV talk show host Glenn Beck.
The Reagan Dinner, is Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse, 2201 Mineral Wells Hwy. in Weatherford. VIP reception is at 6 p.m. with a general reception at 6:30 and program followed by dinner catered by Fire Oak Grill at 7 p.m

The Christmas Party for the Parker County Republican Party that was scheduled for earlier this week has been postponed to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at the Weatherford Downtown Cafe.
