Celebration of Appreciation

The parishioners of St. Stephen will hold a Celebration of Appreciation for Sister Mildred Gordon, SHSp at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12 at St. Stephen Parish Hall on Bethel Rd. in Weatherford. This social gathering is to mark her years of service in the Sisters of the Holy Spirit and Mary Immaculate.

Public Viewing of Glenn Beck “Restoring Courage” Broadcast for Israel

Aledo Christian Center will host a public viewing of Glenn Beck “Restoring Courage” Broadcast for Israel at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 21 at Aledo Christian Center in Downtown Aledo, 241 N. Front Street. This event, held in Jerusalem Israel, is for the purpose of standing with Israel in their struggle for peace.

Bible Study

Community Bible Study will be hosting an informal come and go coffee from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 25 at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church for any women interested in attending an in depth Bible study of Revelation.
