The Aledo Ex-Students Association will hold it annual dinner at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Don Daniel Ninth Grade Center on the campus of Aledo High School.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. The dinner will honor the Class of 1961.
The Don Daniel Ninth Grade Center is located at 990 Bailey Ranch Road in Aledo. Parking will be on the north side of the building.
Parade takes new route this year

The Aledo High School 2011 Homecoming Parade will have a new route this year that pulls it off of congested FM 1187 and closer to Aledo High School.
The route begins on the new Champions Drive where it intersects with Buchanan Drive. The route moves south, then turns west along the south side of the AHS student parking lot. The parade proceeds through the circular drive in front of the AHS gym, then continues west until parade participants enter Bearcat Stadium from at the southwest gate.
Aledo High School will hold it graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. Monday, June 6 at TCU's Daniel Meyer Coliseum.
The annual senior awards for Aledo High School will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at Aledo High School Auditorium.
The Aledo High School Band will provide great music and delicious desserts at their annual Café Concert at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14 in the Aledo High School Auditorium. Admission is free, but donations to the band are appreciated.
A State Championship Pep Rally will be held on Friday, January 14 at 1:30 pm in the Main Gym at AHS.The public is invited.
