Crockett third grade students donate items to Pythian Home

Crockett Elementary: Third grade students at Crockett Elementary recently donated items for the Pythian Home.  Cinde Watson, director of public relations, spoke the students about the Pythian Home. Crockett Elementary Hosts Fourth-Annual Matheroni Grill

Fifth grade students at Crockett Elementary participate in the school's annual Matheroni Grill which gives them an opportunity to brush up on their math skills while moving from station-to-station in the library. The purpose of Matheroni Grill is to prepare students for Monday's TAKS Math test.

Crockett Elementary Third Graders Donate Items to Parker County Animal Shelter

Third graders at Crockett Elementary recently donated items to the Parker County Animal Shelter. Students donated various items including: dog food, cat food, hand sanitizers, dog bones, newspapers, towels and more.

Each month third graders from Crockett participate in a different "Mission of the Month". Crockett Cubs are always eager to help different organizations and people in the Weatherford community by their Mission of the Month projects.

'Me & My Giant' third grade exercise at Crockett Elementary

Weatherford High School senior Logan Hannah and his brother, Blake (WHS 2010 graduate) visited Crockett Elementary to give third grade students an opportunity to estimate, measure, and compare the measurement of height, circumference of the head, neck, wrist, nose, foot, and much more.

To the surprise of everyone, one measurement was exactly the same. The nose on both Logan and Crockett Elementary third grader Andrew Whitsitt measured 2 inches. The "Humble Giants,” to third graders, gave students an experience they will not soon forget.
